The Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA), a unit of the U.S. Department of Commerce, is the sole federal organization focused on fostering the creation and growth of minority‑owned businesses across the United States. Leveraging a nationwide network of minority business centers and strategic partners, MBDA delivers comprehensive support—including business development, technical and financial assistance, access to capital, contracts, and markets, as well as strategic consulting and global expansion services—to help entrepreneurs scale operations, create jobs, and compete in national and international markets.
