Senior Cloud Engineer

The U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, build, and maintain secure and cost-effective cloud infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience with AWS, DevOps, and cloud computing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Four (4) years of related work experience
• Experience with AWS infrastructure and DevOps
• Experience with AWS foundational services, and ECS/Fargate, RDS, ElastiCache, Code Commit, Batch, Lamda, Code Deploy, CloudFront, Athena, or Glue
• Experience with CI/CD and Agile tool sets including Jira, Bitbucket Pipelines, and Jenkins
• Experience with Linux administration and networking
• Experience with containerization skills using Docker
• Experience with maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Experience with programming/scripting languages, including JavaScript, Python, PHP, Java, HTML, or CSS
• Experience with cloud computing and integration methods
• Experience with testing tools such as Sonarqube and CircleCI
