Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift

Role Overview

Join our team as a Forklift Operator at our new logistics facility in Gastonia, NC. This hands-on role involves receiving and loading shipping manifests, operating forklifts, and maintaining inventory.

What You Will Do

Load trailers with finished product, read load sheets, unload inbound trailers, operate forklifts, and maintain inventory. Perform quality and food safety tasks, and report safety problems to supervisors.

Requirements

• Basic math and reading skills
• Forklift operator's license
• Non-slip shoes and personal protective equipment
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 70lb's
• Ability to stand most of the time
• Ability to work in / around consistently hot equipment and environments
• Ability to multi-task
• Team orientation
• Basic math skills
• Proficiency with basic hand tools
• Knowledge of safe operating practices
• Experience with general mechanic tools
