- Responsible for recruitment of department members
- Participate in Valeo Expertise process
- Responsible for department budget
- Participate in project budget construction
- Accountable for budgeted hours approved in CAA and/or IAR
- Control spending by project
- Responsible for workload forecast in métier
- Propose yearly investment plan
- Define and standardize investment
- Responsible for department efficiency
- Participate to definition of process, methods, and tools
- Deploy engineering process, methodology, and tools
- Ensure full deployment of 5 axes methodology
- Support certification process
- Participate to product architecture and systems engineering network
- Support RAISE team
- Participate in elaboration of standards
- Review and challenge destandardization requests
- Ensure all projects are covered by regular métier design reviews
- Lead review of RED Box Incident
- Ensure single design achieves highest level of robust design
- Centralize information on resources in region
- Define assignment of resources for new project
- Identify and create synergies between resources
