Material Controller - Weekend Days

Role Overview

The Material Controller position is an individual contributor role who supports the Small Parts department, responsible for accurate handling, movement, and documentation of materials and products within a manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do

Move and document materials/products to maintain inventory accuracy, interpret production and shipping orders, perform inventory cycle counts, and maintain tools and equipment.

Requirements

• Proficient with computers
• Communicate problems or needs to departmental/shift supervision
• Add, subtract, multiply, divide, read, write, and count, accurately and legibly
• Communicate and interact with coworkers in a professional manner
• Pay attention to detail and follow work instructions
• Become forklift certified
• Responsible to conduct Forklift Inspections
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to spend 75% of workday standing or walking, 10% sitting, 10% stooping, and 5% climbing
