Job Description
The Surgical Tech II position at Vanderbilt University Medical Center involves assisting physicians and nursing staff before, during, and after surgical procedures by creating and maintaining a sterile field. The role requires maintaining active NBSTSA or NCCT Certification and performing competently all cases, including difficult and complicated ones.
Requirements
- Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
- Tech in Surgery TS-C - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
- 1 year of relevant work experience
- Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program
