Job description
Join Vantor's team as a Geospatial Data Scientist to support gathering project requirements from customers and implementing data-driven solutions. The role requires an active U.S. Government Security Clearance at the TS/SCI level with required polygraph. The team has an immediate need for an experienced Geospatial Data Scientist to work on-site full time in McLean, VA.
Use Python scripting and AWS services to automate geospatial data ingestion, transformation, and analysis. Apply geospatial data science techniques to identify patterns, trends, and mission-relevant insights. Create maps, visualizations, and analytic products for technical and non-technical audiences.
This role is suitable for problem solvers, changemakers, and go-getters who are willing to work on-site full time. The ideal candidate should have strong experience using Python for geospatial data transformation, automation, and analysis, as well as experience working with geospatial data in thick-client GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS).
