Job description
The Senior Paralegal will work closely with the Deputy General Counsel and Counsel to maintain compliance with federal and state laws and regulations for the organization's registered securities products and non-registered insurance products. The role requires a quick learner, flexible, pro-active, organized, and detail-oriented individual who can work in a fast-paced environment.
The Senior Paralegal will manage insurance product documents, complete and file regulatory filings, renew and maintain insurance company licensing, and perform legal research and compile data.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, paralegal certification, and 5+ years of experience as a corporate paralegal. Knowledge of federal securities laws, state insurance laws, and FINRA rules is a plus.
