Junior Mechanical Engineer

Role Overview

The Junior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for providing immediate response to design-related production issues, managing the Product Lifecycle for Switchgear designs, and improving Design for Manufacturability. This position is ideal for individuals seeking a fast-paced environment that fosters problem-solving and continuous improvement.

What You Will Do

Maintain Switchgear design Product Lifecycle Management, Identify and Cross-Functionally Coordinate Design for Manufacturability Improvements, Provide design support for issues discovered during production, and Support New Product Development and Introduction.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, 1-3+ years of experience in 3D modeling / 2D drafting, and excellent communications skills – written & verbal.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 1-3+ years of experience in 3D modeling / 2D drafting
• Understanding of Design for Manufacturability
• Understanding of Sheet Metal and Copper Design
• Excellent communications skills – written & verbal
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
