The Installation Technician will perform installations of electronic control systems, which may include door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, low-voltage communication, and fire alarm systems. The candidate must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the physical security, fire alarm or low voltage communication industry and be able to travel and drive throughout Southern California and out of state, as needed.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the physical security, fire alarm or low voltage communication industry, including installing field devices, programming systems, and running medium- to large-sized jobs, are required
- NICET certification is a plus
- Experience with access control, video management, intrusion detection, and fire alarm systems, or any of the following is preferred: Lenel/S2, Software House, AMAG, Brivo, Open Options Avigilon, Genetec, Exacqvision, Milestone, ONSSI, Axis, American Dynamics, and Eagle Eye DMP, Bosch, and Commend Edwards, Notifier, Firelite
- Must be able to travel and drive throughout Southern California and out of state, such as AZ, MN, UT, and CO, as needed
