EHS Specialist

Requirements

• Monitor compliance to regulations, policies, standards and procedures
• Conduct internal audits, including post-assessment summaries and corrective action plans
• Facilitate the root cause and corrective action process for EHS reported incidents
• Maintain a high level of EHS awareness among personnel through communication, training and promoting involvement in EHS programs
• Ensure EHS documentation is updated and available onsite
• Collaborate with the safety committee to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions
• Oversee the proper storage and handling of hazardous materials within facilities
• Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities for regulatory compliance
• Stay current on industry best practices and regulatory changes related to facility safety
