Operator 1 Large Machines Weekend Days

Role Overview

Operate various types of large machines in a production environment to produce a product. Types of machines include extrusion, laminator, tarp machine, winder, seal cart, etc. The team is dedicated to creating film and sheeting solutions that outperform and outlast.

What You Will Do

Load and unload material, package material for shipment, monitor material and machine conditions, maintain a safe and clean work area, and learn how to set up and operate large machines.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate is a team player who is self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, and has basic math skills. They should be able to work at a fast pace efficiently and have good eye/hand coordination.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous machine operation experience preferred, but not required
• Aptitude to learn mechanical skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to work at a fast pace efficiently
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions and maintain accurate records
• Proficient with computers
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff
• Good eye/hand coordination
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to operate forklift, pallet mover, or hoist equipment
• Forklift certification may be required
