Medical Assistant - Cardiology

The Medical Assistant (MA) assists physician, PA or NP with clerical duties, patient flow, patient care and procedures. Prepares examination rooms, maintains efficient patient flow, and communicates patient care consistent with age, cultural, spiritual and developmental needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program
• 0-1 year related work experience (2-4 years related work experience preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or within 30 days of hire
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing
• Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner
• Basic proficiency in computer use
