Assistant Professor of Recreational Therapy

Virginia Wesleyan University is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Recreational Therapy to teach and provide direction to the department's major. The role involves contributing to core curriculum and upholding a commitment to undergraduate teaching and student advising. A doctorate in Recreation, Leisure Studies, or a related field is preferred, and candidates with demonstrated completion of an undergraduate degree will be considered.

• Evidence of completed degree prior to fall 2026 (A.B.D. candidates will be considered)
• Must be a CTRS credential holder
