VSO is seeking an experienced AWS Developer to join their IT team in Fort Meade, MD. This hybrid role involves supporting web applications hosted on AWS, implementing AWS-managed services, and contributing to DevOps pipelines. Candidates should have extensive experience with AWS, Python scripting, and containerization. The role requires approximately 2-3 days of on-site work per week.

Requirements

• 7-9 years of professional experience supporting the design, development, testing, and maintenance of web-based applications hosted on AWS.
• AWS Lambda
• Amazon API Gateway
• Amazon ECS / EKS
• AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) or Terraform
• Python (for scripting and automation)
• JavaScript/TypeScript (preferred)
