Job description
This team is part of Visa's Database Engineering team and is responsible for Architecting, Engineering, Automation and building the reliable, scalable, secure, available, and cost-effective database infrastructure solutions.
Responsible for SQL Server Database design, development, deployment, life cycle management, migration, and automation efforts. Implement deployment standards, recommendations, operating procedures, and cost-effective Active-Active solutions.
5 or more years of DBA experience with Microsoft SQL Server - HADR, Clustering, Always On, Distributed AG, Replication, Encryption, Partitioning, Performance Tuning. Expertise in performing proof of concepts, onboarding and certification of new SQL versions and tools.
