We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Podiatrist to provide comprehensive podiatric care services to residents in a skilled nursing facility.
Requirements
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited podiatry program
- Active and unrestricted state license to practice podiatric medicine
- Board certification or board eligibility preferred
- 4-5 years of experience in podiatry, with experience in long-term care, geriatrics, or wound care strongly preferred
- Strong clinical knowledge of lower extremity pathology, diabetic foot care, and wound management
- Experience performing minor surgical procedures and wound debridement
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and best practices in a clinical setting
- Excellent clinical judgment, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
