Admissions RN

VITAS is seeking a compassionate Admissions RN to bridge the gap between the hospital's fast-paced environment and the comfort of hospice. This role involves conducting clinical assessments, educating patients and families about hospice services, and guiding them through the decision-making process. VITAS aims to redefine end-of-life care, offering a purpose-driven and supportive environment.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (hospice, palliative, ER, ICU, home health or case management preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Compassionate communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Active listener who builds trust and rapport
• Reliable professional with strong follow-through and autonomy
