Job Description
VITAS is seeking a compassionate Admissions RN to guide patients and families through the transition into hospice. This role involves conducting clinical assessments, providing emotional support, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. VITAS is dedicated to redefining what's possible in end-of-life care and offers a supportive and growth-focused environment.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (hospice, palliative, ER, ICU, home health or case management preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Compassionate communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Active listener who builds trust and rapport
- Confident in guiding others through uncertainty
- Reliable professional with strong follow-through and autonomy
