Home Health Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

VITAS Home Health Aides provide personal care and services to hospice patients, augmenting the care of family members or caregivers. The role involves performing assigned personal care, assisting with meals, ambulation, and treatment preparations, along with monitoring patient conditions and educating caregivers. Training is required annually and is aligned with industry standards.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• 12 hours of in-service training
• Valid state or regional CNA certification
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and perform directions
