Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

VITAS Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to administer nursing care to terminally ill patients in a supportive and patient-centered environment. The LPN/LVN will evaluate patient needs, administer treatments and medications, and maintain a safe and clean environment, contributing to their well-being and providing continuity of care for the duration of their illness. This role focuses on providing skilled bedside nursing care, collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and maximizing independence for the patient.

Requirements

• Must have and maintain transportation
• Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing
• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located
• At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience
• At least one year of experience as an LPN/LVN in a hospital on an adult medical surgical unit
