Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The LPN/LVN is responsible for administering nursing care to terminally ill patients in a VITAS program. This role focuses on providing direct skilled bedside nursing, evaluating patient needs, preparing and executing care plans, monitoring patient conditions, and documenting findings. The LVN supports interdisciplinary team efforts and participates in professional growth activities.

Requirements

• Must have and maintain transportation for work.
• Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located.
• At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience, at least one year of which is an LPN/LVN in a hospital on an adult medical surgical unit.
