The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct skilled nursing care to terminally ill patients in a VITAS program, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. They evaluate patient needs, administer treatments and medications, and maintain a clean environment while collaborating with a registered nurse and team. They also focus on patient education and well-being.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing.
- Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located.
- At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience, at least one year is an LPN/LVN in a hospital setting.
- Must have and maintain transportation for work with required liability insurance and license.
