Vomela is seeking a Large Format Digital Press Operator to join their team. As a creative and intellectual thinker, you will work with customers to create compelling brand solutions and foster meaningful connections.
Requirements
- Quality Control: # of rejected pieces
- Efficiency: # of pieces completed per hour
- Preparing or creating electronic art files
- Ensuring digital art and graphic elements are complete, consistent, and compatible with prepress & RIP processes
- Ripping files for digital print on large / grand format printers
- Creating and reviewing proofs and monitoring quality during production
- Performing color calibrations, daily equipment maintenance and restocking
- Performing basic color management tasks and operating digital presses to expected production standards
- Maintaining assigned documentation and schedules
- Regular attendance and the ability to work overtime on short notice
- Accurately entering time and job information into the Pace Collection System
- Operating standard office equipment including copy machine
- Carrying out conduct in accordance with all company policies, procedures, safety and applicable laws
