Maintenance Electrician

Role Overview

Join our team as a Maintenance Electrician and contribute to innovative solutions that drive positive change in the transportation industry. This role is responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment within an industrial environment.

What You Will Do

Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions, perform daily visual inspections, and complete preventative maintenance requirements on motors, transformers, and electrical panels. Work closely with other maintenance staff and production teams to minimize downtime and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent
• Completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship program or equivalent industrial electrical training
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, including high and low voltage systems, industrial control systems, PLCs, and motor control centers
• Basic knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical (high and low voltage), Electrical troubleshooting, Control systems, Welding, Cutting, Fabrication, and General Mechanics
• Knowledge of forklift operations
• Ability to record data for maintenance records
• Ability to work with others in all phases of manufacturing
