Sr Accountant

We are seeking a Sr Accountant to join our Controller team! This role reports to the Senior Manager, Global Accounting & Reporting and is located in Columbia, MD. The Sr Accountant will play a key part in supporting both business and corporate accounting activities for a global, diversified organization.

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Accounting
• 3-4 years' experience within a public accounting firm or an accounting department within a large multinational corporation
• Strong GAAP skills/knowledge required
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite capabilities (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with U.S. GAAP financial statements through audit or preparation
• Strong interpersonal skills—ability to communicate to all levels in the organization and across functions
