Maintenance Tech I

Role Overview

The Maintenance Technician I position is responsible for supporting production by minimizing equipment downtime, providing prompt response times, and completing planned preventative maintenance and planned production equipment repairs.

What You Will Do

Troubleshoot and repair issues with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, perform minor tasks on electrical components, and follow safety policies and practices.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The desired candidate will have 1-3 years' experience in any related field, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Basic reading, writing, & verbal skills
• Prior experience with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Methodical problem solving to identify root cause of breakdowns
• Ability to work on projects both individually and cross functionally
• Good mechanical aptitude, knowledge of tools (power and hand), ability to make detailed measurements using instruments
