Maintenance Technician I

Role Overview

The Maintenance Technician I position is responsible for supporting production by minimizing equipment downtime, performing planned preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. The role requires working 8 hours/day, including mandatory overtime and weekends, and ability to work on projects both individually and with a cross-functional team.

What You Will Do

Complete planned preventative maintenance and planned production equipment repairs, troubleshoot and repair issues with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, perform minor tasks on electrical components, and follow safety policies and practices.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Basic reading, writing, & verbal skills
• Prior experience with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Methodical problem solving to identify root cause of breakdowns
• Ability to work on projects both individually and cross functionally
• Good mechanical aptitude, knowledge of tools (power and hand), ability to make detailed measurements using instruments
