
Job description
Assemblers perform a variety of tasks at Wabash, including installing subassemblies, assembling component parts, and operating heavy machinery. The role is full-time and temporary, lasting from 6/8-8/15. Assemblers are responsible for safety, quality, and delivery, and must wear approved personal protective equipment.
The Assembler will be responsible for tasks such as measuring, cutting, and caulking materials, installing rivets, operating heavy machinery, and installing truck bed flooring. They will also be required to follow decal templates and blueprints, and perform additional work assigned by the supervisor or coordinator.
The ideal candidate will be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, have basic reading, writing, and verbal skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with constant attention to safety, environmental, and health concerns.
