Solar Project Engineer

Role Overview

Manage solar construction projects from pre-construction to closeout, using company processes and procedures. Oversee project financial aspects, client and subcontractor concerns, and project communications. Provide conceptual information and facilitate meetings.

What You Will Do

Track project financial budgets, manage field productivity, and ensure project safety. Identify project impacts and delays, and prepare and submit claims. Solve problems and make time-sensitive decisions in complex situations.

This role requires 1-5 years of experience in the solar industry, a bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, and robust knowledge of electrical systems. Self-motivation, organization, and effective communication are essential.

Requirements

• 1-5 years' experience in the Solar Industry
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or applicable equivalent training/experience
• Robust knowledge of installation of all electrical systems, specifically PV / DC systems
• Estimating takeoff capabilities
• Microsoft Office Suite proficient, Excel expert
• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
