Utility Pipe - Top Laborer

Role Overview

We're looking for an experienced Laborer to serve as the lead laborer on an underground utility crew. This role supports pipe layers, operators, and the foreman by coordinating labor tasks, maintaining jobsite safety, and ensuring materials and workflow stay organized and efficient.

What You Will Do

Coordinate labor tasks, maintain jobsite safety, and ensure materials and workflow stay organized and efficient. Lead by example, direct other laborers, and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must be able to lift 75 pounds, work varied hours, and tolerate variable weather conditions. 3-5 years road construction laborer experience and 6 months experience in assembling and installing sanitary sewer pipe and manholes required.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
• Class A CDL strongly desired
• High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
• Punctual and dependable
• Member of a Local Laborer Union, or willingness to become a union member
• 3-5 years road construction laborer experience
• 6 months experience in assembling and installing sanitary sewer pipe and manholes
• Knowledge of confined spaces, OSHA trenching and sloping is preferred
• Ability to lift 75 pounds
