Wallee Group is seeking a Java Software Engineer to join their Vilnius office. The role involves designing and developing highly resilient back-end systems using Java, following best practices, and participating in peer code reviews. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge in Java and core frameworks, proven experience building distributed systems, and strong proficiency in SQL.

Requirements

• Design and develop highly resilient back-end systems using Java
• Follow best practices such as SOLID principles, design patterns, and proper error handling
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests for new and existing code
• Participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency across the codebase
• Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes when incidents occur
