Engineer - Civil

Role Overview

Manage land/site development projects, including technical design, quality control, and project management. Business development activities and assignments concentrated in a specific target area. Work with the team to set goals to meet business objectives.

What You Will Do

Complete Civil design drawings using AudoCAD Civil 3D software. Travel to job sites. Field investigations and documentation under general supervision of Project Manager. Provide construction related services including meeting attendance, shop drawings reviews, responses to RFI, scheduling and coordination with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), scheduling and coordination with job site contractors.

Why It Might Be a Fit

PE in Arkansas, or ability to obtain license within 12 months of hire date. BS in Civil Engineering (MS a plus). 3+ years of relevant project experience (5-8 years of experience strongly preferred).

• 3+ years of relevant project experience (5-8 years of experience strongly preferred)
• Experience managing civil/site development projects
• Experience leading the civil design efforts for public works or site development projects
• Sound technical design background
• Excellent communication, verbal and written, and organizational skills
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of local and U.S. design codes and standards
