Product Engineer

Wärtsilä is seeking a Product Engineer to support multiple departments, including Technical Identifications, Parts Sales, Purchasing, Pricing, Assembly & Testing, and Quality Inspection. The role involves working with technical spare parts sales or service, managing business tools and systems, and coordinating with suppliers. The preferred location is in Hattem, The Netherlands.

Requirements

• Senior Secondary Vocational Education (MBO 4 / HBO) in Marine Engineering (Marof - WTK) or a related technical field.
• 3–7 years of hands-on experience in a technical (maritime) or field service environment.
• Experience with technical spare parts sales or service is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for solving complex technical spare parts requests.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Customer-focused and service-oriented with a proactive can-do mentality.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work with multiple systems, including SAP, MS Office, and digital archives.
