Role Overview

The Cloud Principal Engineer will lead the development of cloud-based solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to architect, design, and implement quality solutions. The role requires expertise in cloud computing, software development, and technical leadership.

The Cloud Principal Engineer will lead user story refinement meetings, collaborate with teams to design and implement solutions, and stay up-to-date with new technologies and techniques. They will also act as a technical expert, communicate effectively with the team, and contribute to the development and maintenance of applications and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in science, computing engineering subjects
• Minimum 12 years of experience in Cloud and Software Development
• Extensive knowledge and proven experience as a software developer, with exposure to elements of the back-end technology stack (C#,.NET)
• Front-End JavaScript Frameworks, especially Angular
• Good experience working with Amazon Web Services, Microservices, API development
• Knowledge and application of software engineering practices (e.g. Unit testing, TDD, CI/CD, SOLID, BDD etc.)
• Proven ability to lead design and development of complex features
• Proven ability to work as part of an Agile delivery team
• Ability to analyze and solve problems
• Excellent communication and team working skills
