Senior Applied Research Scientist, Perception

Waymo is an autonomous driving technology company seeking a Senior Applied Research Scientist, Perception to join their Perception team. The team builds the system that perceives the world around the autonomously driving vehicle, and the role will involve owning tasks in the ML Driver, analyzing behavior of ML systems, and developing methods for automatically detecting issues or regressions.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Computer Science or a similar discipline, or an equivalent amount of deep learning experience
• 3+ years experience in Machine Learning and Computer Vision
• Experience with Python
• Experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch or JAX
