Software Engineer, Onboard Reliability Infra

Waymo is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Planner/Perception Reliability team. The team focuses on building architectures, tools, and workflows to prevent, identify, and guide fixes of reliability issues in onboard software. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of system behavior and have experience with C++ or Python, building scalable pipelines and tooling.

Requirements

• BS in Comp Sci, EE, Robotics, Physics, Math, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in C++ or Python, building scalable pipelines and tooling
• Understanding of fundamental statistical concepts and applying them in the real world
• 2+ years of experience organizing chaos across organizational boundaries
