Machine Learning Specialist (Mid-Level)

Role Overview

Join Webb Fontaine's Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning team to build and implement cutting-edge solutions in international trade. As a mid-level ML Specialist, you will work on developing algorithms, building models, and researching new methods to apply to existing implementations.

What You Will Do

Develop algorithmic solutions using advanced machine-learning techniques, build models to explore new techniques, research new methods, and optimize AI models and infrastructure.

Requirements

• 2+ years of working experience in Machine Learning
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other relevant fields
• Broad understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning approaches
• Experience with NLP, including work with Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Strong practical experience with tree-based machine learning methods and boosting algorithms
• Practical experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
• Knowledge of Deep Learning frameworks (preferably PyTorch)
• Good knowledge of Python and its ML-related libraries
• Good understanding of mathematics, statistics, and linear algebra
• Experience with building AI/ML solutions and implementing them for production systems
• Experience with risk management models and approaches
• Good communication skills
• Fluency in English
