Weed Man is seeking a Lawn Care Technician to provide high-quality lawn care services to customers, including applications of fertilizer, lime, weed, insect, disease, grub, mole & mosquito control, aeration, and seeding. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and 3+ years clean driving record.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with 3+ years clean driving record
- Have a clean criminal record
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- Legal documentation to verify employment eligibility
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work 8-10 hours per day (including some Saturdays during peak season)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (8-10 hours per day)
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Adhere to company policies which can be found in the employee handbook (i.e., drug, alcohol, tobacco, cell phone, attendance, etc.)
- Self-motivated and will initiate action when needed
- Requires minimum supervision, but knows when to ask for assistance
- Accepts feedback from fellow team members
