Job Description
This is a temporary on-site position requiring a Trip Pilot to ensure the safety and operation of a vessel. The pilot is responsible for navigating the vessel, ensuring crew compliance with safety rules, managing cargo, and maintaining the vessel budget. The role involves working on-call, operating radio watches, and enforcing company policies.
Requirements
- Must meet USCG physical examination requirements.
- Must be able to travel to and from vessel/training locations via air or car travel.
- Must have experience pushing barges.
- Must have experience running on the Tennessee River and close proximity to the Ohio River.
- Must be able to climb steep stairs, sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
