Dedicated Logistics Manager

Role Overview

The Dedicated Logistics Manager has ownership of the dedicated account's profitability through day-to-day operations, including driver management, load planning, and customer service. The role involves supervision of personnel, revenue generation, billing, safety, equipment maintenance monitoring, and driver payroll. The manager coordinates and enforces standards and procedures to work safely and meet key performance indicators (KPIs) established by Werner Enterprises and the customer.

What You Will Do

Daily supervision of office personnel and drivers, assigning drivers to loads, promoting safety, and ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Organizational rules and regulations. The manager also reviews and audits weekly invoicing for accuracy, establishes and maintains positive working relationships, and interfaces with various departments.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing, Management, or Transportation/Logistics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Two to three years of customer service and transportation experience are preferred. The candidate should be able to use AS400 and PC systems and have strong communication and problem-solving skills.
