
Job description
Lead, influence, and sustain a strong underground safety culture, implement and reinforce the Project Operational Safety Plan (POSP), and model and uphold Westgold's values, policies, and operational standards. Reporting to the Underground Manager, working an 8 days on / 6 days off roster, this statutory position places you at the centre of daily underground operations.
Provide leadership to operational and technical teams, influence mine planning and project execution, mentor the next generation of underground mining professionals, and contribute directly to Westgold's strategic objectives.
