Engineer, Nuclear Level 4 Lead

Capital Projects Electrical Engineer responsible for technical interface with engineering firms, preparing and reviewing engineering documents, and providing expertise in nuclear standards and design process.

Requirements

• Knowledge of industry and nuclear standards
• Familiarity with nuclear industry standard design process
• Experience with molded case circuit breakers and motor starters
• Experience with thermal overloads, low voltage power breakers and switchgear, and medium voltage power breakers and switchgear
• Experience with industrial battery chargers, industrial inverters or UPS, and 125Vdc battery systems
• Experience with Emergency Diesel Generators (EDGs), large dry type or oil filled transformers, main generators, and voltage regulators
• Experience with ladder logic and electrical schematics
• Experience with NSCA/safe shutdown analysis
• Proficiency in power systems analysis
• Experience with computational tools like ETAP, EDISON, and others
• At least 12 years of collective nuclear experience in US nuclear power plants
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required
• PE preferred, may substitute for degree
• 15+ years of nuclear engineering or related experience
• Experience in plant operations and engineering project management
