Job Description
As a Principal Project Engineer at Westinghouse, you will support the development of AP1000 projects from initiation to completion, overseeing project design and implementation while ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to project timelines.
Requirements
- Help develop engineering projects, ensuring agreement on goals and industry standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, promoting innovation and best practices.
- Develop and oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely delivery within scope.
- Collaborate with team members, including clients, vendors, and our teams, to ensure project requirements are met.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards relevant to engineering projects.
- Find and address project risks, implementing proactive solutions to address challenges.
- Conduct technical reviews, feasibility studies, and performance evaluations to improve project execution.
- Promote process improvements and the use of new technologies to enhance project efficiency
