Job Description
We're looking for a Project Engineer – Thermal Management, Utility Scale Energy Storage on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment. The Utility Scale Energy Storage team is looking for a Project Engineer specializing in Thermal Management for Lithium-Ion Battery Systems. You will support BESS projects from design through commissioning, collaborating across the organization to provide the best energy storage solutions.
Requirements
- Evaluate design aspects of major components for utility-scale energy storage projects
- Prepare technical scopes of work for thermal management studies and designs for incorporation into contract documents.
- Support projects from conception through commissioning, including on-site commissioning activities.
- Provide engineering guidance to project teams and oversee external Engineers of Record
- Collaborate with suppliers on equipment sizing, controls, technology compatibility, and integration.
- Partner with multi-disciplined teams on problem solving, system integration, and process improvement.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and track emerging technologies.
