We are seeking a Garment Technician Assistant to join our Design & Production team in Sydney, Australia. The role involves reviewing photoshoot samples, identifying quality issues, and supporting fittings. The ideal candidate has recently graduated or is studying Fashion Design, Garment Technology, or a related field, and has some experience in a similar role.
Requirements
- Recently graduated or currently studying Fashion Design, Garment Technology, or a related field
- Some experience in a similar role, ideally within the fast fashion industry
- Strong working knowledge of Excel
- Basic understanding of pattern making and grading
- Familiarity with tech packs and garment specs is essential
- General understanding of quality assurance
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
