Occupational Therapist role at William Osler Health System, responsible for providing quality occupational therapy services, education, and assessments to patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Membership in CAOT or OSOT preferred
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking and comprehension)
- Recent experience in adult physical medicine
- Basic knowledge of evidence-based clinical practice related to general medicine and rehab clients
- Experience with psychosocial, cognitive, perceptual and physical health related assessment and intervention skills addressing occupational performance
- Demonstrated ability to manage high caseload volumes
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
