Job description
We are seeking a qualified Construction Inspector to inspect construction job sites for transportation projects. The inspector will be responsible for observing and inspecting various construction projects, documenting progress, and maintaining accurate records.
The Construction Inspector will conduct laboratory and field testing, read and interpret plans, and maintain clear and effective written and oral communication. They will also attend and conduct meetings, measure distances, and provide accurate documentation of work completed.
This role requires a disciplined individual who can work independently, manage time efficiently, and communicate effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience working with DOTs, knowledge of construction practices, and the ability to learn on the job.
