Junior Construction Observer

Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified Construction Inspector to observe and inspect various construction projects from beginning to completion. This person will be responsible for thorough documentation of daily progress, computing and tracking materials and quantities, material sampling and testing, maintaining timely, accurate records of project progress and general oversight.

What You Will Do

Observe and inspect construction projects, read and interpret plans, conduct laboratory and field testing, maintain records, and communicate with project stakeholders.

Requirements

• 1+ years of construction experience
• Ability to travel and stay out of town for a week at a time
• Knowledge of typical construction practices, ADOT specifications
• Ability to work independently and incorporate efficient time management practices
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral
