DevOps Engineer (On-Call)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a high-performing team responsible for supporting a secure, cloud-based infrastructure underpinning critical public sector services.

What You Will Do

Provide Level 3 engineering support for a large-scale cloud platform, participate in a paid out-of-hours on-call support rota, build and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Strong Linux systems administration experience
• AWS infrastructure and services (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.)
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform or CloudFormation
• Configuration management: Ansible
• Reverse proxy/load balancer experience: Nginx
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
• Docker/container experience
• Experience working in Agile teams using tools like Git, Jira, and Confluence
• Eligible for SC and NPPV3 clearance
